Aesthetic consultation
Before any treatment, an aesthetic consultation must be booked. This is an in depth consultation where medical /surgical / aesthetic history is discussed and shared treatment goals are agreed.
The cost of an Aesthetic consultation is £50. This is a non- refundable deposit that will be applied towards any further treatment cost.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Over time, due to continuous muscle movement you may notice fine lines starting to show on your face. Sometimes, this can make some people look older than they are, or look angry when they are not, for example.
Fine lines are softened by temporarily relaxing the muscle using botulinum toxin.
Treatment areas can include frown lines, forehead and crows feet.
Niamh assesses the muscle in movement so she can see their strength and accurately place injections to give you the outcome you
are looking for.

Redensity 1 Skin Booster
Hyaluronic acid skin booster. This treatment consisting of high concentration hyaluronic acid, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins & minerals is designed to improve skin hydration, radiance & firmness. It also corrects skin toughness & withered skin marked by ageing & helps in the prevention of further wrinkles.
For optimum results the recommended treatment regimen is 3 treatments 3 - 4 weeks apart & repeated every 4 - 6 months to maintain the results.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a skin treatment used to rejuvenate the skin and improve the skin’s surface. It can be used to improve the appearance of ageing skin, uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, scars (acne, chickenpox, surgical), hyperpigmentation, sun damage, alopecia, cellulite and stretch marks.
As the microneedling device moves across the skin, it makes multiple small needle punctures in the skin’s outer epidermis layer, creating very minor micro injuries. In response to the perceived injury, new collagen synthesis is triggered and the micro channels created allow passage of a skin booster to the correct skin depth to maximise overall skin rejuvenation.
An initial course of at least three treatments 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for maximal results. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months to maintain results.

At Emerald, Niamh only uses the highest quality polynucleotides containing highly purified technology HPT®️Plinest & Newest from Italian manufacturer Mastelli. Plinest contains polynucleotides & Newest contains polynucleotides with hyaluronic acid.
Treatment with Plinest & Newest is indicated to improve skin texture, improve skin discolouration, skin tone, fine lines, hydration & radiance. Plinest can also be used to improve the appearance of scars.

One area of Polynucleotides includes one of the following areas; lower face or eye area or neck or décolletage. Chemical Peel
A chemical solution is applied to the surface of the skin to treat the epidermis and / or dermis. This action chemically loosens dead and damaged skin cells causing exfoliation and encouraging regeneration and rejuvenation of new skin cells. Chemical peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and shorter recovery time.
At Emerald Medical Aesthetics we use chemical peels with minimal or no downtime.
Chemical peels can be used to improve the following; ageing skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and texture, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and dull or lifeless skin.

LED Light Therapy
LED light therapy is a non-invasive and painless face treatment that uses different coloured LED lights to target various skin concerns such as acne, redness, and fine lines. This cutting-edge technology helps to rejuvenate and improve the overall appearance of the skin, leaving it looking brighter, smoother, and more youthful.
LED light therapy can be a standalone treatment. For maximum results it may be recommended to combine LED light therapy with other treatments such as a chemical peel or microneedling.
Cost of a single standalone LED treatment is £60. A course of at least 6 treatments are recommended when using LED light therapy alone.
